The included gas lift is our standard gas lift, with a height range of 45–54 cm. It is suitable for people with a height between 155–195 cm. Are you taller than 195 cm? Then we recommend purchasing a higher gas lift with a range of 50–60 cm for a more comfortable sitting posture.

The wheels of the Backerz Motion Mesh office chair are made of plastic and have a diameter of 11 mm.

This material was chosen because of its light weight, durability, and smooth rolling on hard floors. Although the chair supports a maximum weight of 150 kg, it's good to know that plastic wheels may be less suitable for use on soft surfaces like carpet. On carpeting, the wheels may wear out faster or roll less smoothly.

You can use the wheels on almost all floor types, but be careful with very soft floors. For example, the wheels are suitable for laminate floors but less ideal for very soft MDF floors.

Disassembling the chair can be a bit tricky after it has been used. That’s why we have added a step-by-step video to help you with this:

Once the chair is disassembled, we ask you to return it within the 30-day trial period in the original packaging.

The inner ball is designed to be fully inflated so that the outer cover fits tightly around it. The PVC material can stretch quite a bit, so you are definitely on the right track.

Note: the pump pumps in both directions and works best with a steady rhythm. If you pause or stop for too long, air can escape, especially if the pressure in the ball increases. So it's a little workout 😉 A constant, smooth movement is important to fully inflate the ball.

Below you will find a handy size chart to determine which size sitting ball best fits your body height:

- Sitting ball 55 cm – Height between 140 cm and 160 cm

- Sitting ball 65 cm – Height between 160 cm and 185 cm

- Sitting ball 75 cm – Height between 185 cm and 200 cm

Here are a few tips in case the inner ball of your sitting ball loses air. Keep in mind that it is normal for the ball to lose a small amount of air after about a month. You can easily fix this by pumping a little with the included hand pump.

Is your Backerz sitting ball losing air faster? Then check the points below:

Room temperature:
Make sure the temperature in the room is reasonably stable. Large fluctuations, such as cold nights and warm afternoons, can affect the air pressure in the ball.
At lower temperatures (a drop of 2–3 °C), the pressure in the ball can decrease and it is normal to need to add some extra air.

End cap:
Check if the end cap is fully and firmly placed, and flush with the PVC surface of the ball. If the cap is slightly loose, air can slowly escape.

Is the ball still losing air?
Then try using the spare end cap that came with the product.

The ideal sitting height depends on your own height and the type of desk you use. As a general guideline:

- We recommend the 40–60 cm version for people up to about 175 cm tall.
- Are you taller than that? Then the 55–80 cm version usually offers more comfort, especially with a standard or slightly higher desk.

Both variants are easily height adjustable, so you can always find the position that suits you best.
